Outline.


Book: Dune
Author: Frank Herbert
Thesis: Without the existence of the drug Spice, there would be no purpose of the planets in their galaxies, to them spice is what keeps their drive going, keeps them wanting more.          
Introduction: The book Dune was written by Frank Herbert and is still today one of great scientific novels written. The books main purpose is Spice, their drug of choice. The drug is found on the planet Arrakis and mined by the Fremen people. Without the existence of the drug Spice, there would be no purpose of the planets in their galaxies, to them spice is what keeps their drive going, keeps them wanting more.   
First Body: Talk about Spice, where does it come from and why is it so important
Second: How it relates with the war between the Atreides and the Harkonnens
Third: It relates to modern day society with its high value and its power that it contains
