The Mismatch between Class and Status
This article is about the relationship about class and status. The paper shows comparing and contrasting between the two. It says how on one point they are two different things, then in another view they still come together. It also talks about the differences between rights a person has and the esteem they have upon themselves. People in the higher status usually have more right, does not necessarily mean more esteem to those who have a lower status.

Social Connectedness, Discrimination, and Social Status as Mediators of AcculturationlEnculturation and Well-Being.
This article talks about a survey being taken including social connectedness in mainstream society, social connectedness in the ethnic community, perceived discrimination, and expected social statusas mediators. Results indicated that the effect of acculturation on SWB was mediated by social connectedness in mainstream and ethnic communities and expected social status, whereas the effect of enculturation on SWB was mediated by social connectedness in the ethnic community and expected social status.
